I have an image I would love as a Scab, is this possible?
At the moment we can only produce the Scabs available on our online store for smaller orders. However, we can produce custom scabs for orders over 100. We are always interested in customer feedback. If you have a design you think would make a great Scab, we’d love to hear from you. Please send an email to info@grabascab.com or refer to Custom Scab information in our Shop.
Can I have a Scab designed with our school emblem or sports team’s logo?
Absolutely. Grab A Scab’s Custom Scabs are very popular with schools and sports leagues. Scabs are great to promote team sponsors on jerseys or added to T-shirts for school events. A minimum order of one hundred Scabs is required. Pricing varies depending on quantity ordered. Please refer to the Custom Scabs information in our SHOP or Contact Us.
How long will it take for my Scabs to arrive?
With the exception of custom Scabs, orders are mailed out within one business day. To determine the approximate shipping time on your order, add two business days for a Canadian order and five business days to a US or overseas order. Are Scabs waterproof?
Yes! Our entire line of Scabs are laundry and dishwasher proof.
My children wear through their snow pants very quickly. Do Scabs work on snow pants?
Yes, Scabs are a fantastic way to extend the life of snow pants and ski jackets. Please visit our Photo Gallery to see all the creative ways customers have used Scabs.
Will Scabs come off in the laundry?
Scabs are extremely durable, will adhere to any fabric and stay put. In the unlikely event your Scab comes off or starts peeling, it is likely due to the detergent being used. Some detergents with palm oil have been found to affect the adhesive. For best results, wash item in cold water with Tide, Sunlight or Woolite. If you have a problem, we would like to hear from you. Does Grab A Scab Inc. have a school fundraising program?
At the moment we do not offer Scabs as a stand-alone school fundraising program. However, we have partnered with National Discount Promotions. NDF uses Scabs as an incentive for many of their cookie dough, magazine and fresh fruit fundraising programs.
Grab A Scab supports many community initiatives. Who do I contact to discuss opportunities?
Grab A Scab is honoured to support community volunteers and causes. To request a donation or Grab A Scab involvement in your cause or event, please send an overview of your organization, your request and contact details to info@grabascab.com. We will be in touch with you to determine how we may able to support your initiative.
I would like to include Scabs in my child’s loot bag? Can my order be individually packaged?
Yes, please request separate packaging in the Comment section of your online order and we will include an instruction sheet for each Scab ordered.
I love Scabs and have the opportunity to get the word out about them. Are you able to send out samples?
Yes. If you have a blog, mother’s group or other network that you would like to share Scabs with, send us an email at info@grabascab.com and we will be happy to send some samples.
I have read that Scabs stick to anything. Is the glue toxic? Is it like crazy glue that I can’t get off my skin?
Scabs use a commonly available craft adhesive. It is not toxic. The adhesive on a Scab feels like a common sticker but is specially designed to stick to fabric and other materials.
Can Scabs be used as labels?
Yes, Scabs make excellent labels. If you use a permanent ink marker to write on Scabs, the writing will stay on through the washer, dryer and dishwasher. You can even cut Scabs to any size you wish to make them fit any belonging.
